TIZ’S Winning Circle – The 2009 Talk Radio Seminar & Obama’s Drink
Posted by: | Comments
Greetings all! What a great weekend it was being apart of the 2009 New Media Seminar spear-headed by Michael Harrison of Talkers.com magazine – the source and pioneer of all things talk radio. Speakers at the two day event included Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, The Great One Mark Levine, Governer Mike Huckabee, Laura Ingram and Curtis Sliwa – to name a few. Literally – that’s just a few. It was a great two days bringing talk show hosts and producers from all sides of the spectrum together for the greater good of talk radio. Michael Harrison, the publisher of Talkers magazine, did an amazing job in getting everything together. We’ll have more on the seminar on the PodCast – We’ll also have Michael Harrison as a guest on the show very soon. I had an opportunity to talk to Mr. Harrison about the changing world of talk radio and how it relates to PodCAsts – what he had to say was very enlightening….It was great to that Governmer Mike Huckabee attend the event after having been in Virginia with Newt Gingrich & Oliver North to deliver speeches on values….Comedian Stephen Colbert’s going to Iraq tape his “Colbert Show” for a week. He says that he may want to run for office one day. I hope that someone wrote that for him…. At the Seminar’s farewell bash, I also had the opportunity to have a great conversation with the President of Jordan Goodman Financial Communications, Jordan E. Gordan. We spoke about the spending policies of this adminstration and what it could will lead to. He came up with a very simple yet often ignored point about this situation: THESE ARE THE GOOD ‘OL DAYS! This spending is good and well and easy to complain about – sure – but the fact of the matter is that this is the honeymoon. This is the part in time when we are using our plastic and enjoying using that new credit card that we just got in the mail. Unfortunately, like many people involved in bad mortages recently found it, this country’s going to have to pay that money back – and it looks like that we’re going to pay for it with a dwindling economy and way of life. We hear various scattered reports out there that say “things are on their way to improving”. Really? I guess the laws of economics don’t apply here. I suppose that even though ALL SIGNS POINT TO HYPER INFLATION, somehow Obama will waive his magic wond and all will be ok. Consumers will buy again, people will work again, and America’s debt will dissapear. Wow – I want some of what Obama’s been drinking….Speaking of drinking, from what I understand Obama and his wife went on another taxpayer funded party ‘excursion’ of sorts in France. First a nice holiday in New York, now overseas. Well, I guess it’s not stealing when it’s being flaunted in our faces.
TIZ’S Winning Circle – Obama vs. Cheney, Parliament MP Expenses and U.S. Communism

Recently on “Fox & Friends”, they had on guest Gretchen Peters, author of “Seeds of Terror: How Heroin is Bankrolling the Taliban and al Qaeda.” She discussed how the United States Government fails to focus on the funding of terrorist groups. Just as the U.S. heavily monitors drug trade coming into the U.S. from Latin America, they should also put some effort in pommeling the heart of Taliban’s & al Qaeda’s funds: Those lucrative poppy fields giving birth to opium and other drugs. After hearing about her book and the information that she’s gathered in the 10 years of covering this region, I had to have her on the show. With that said, in a couple of weeks, I’m going to have Gretchen Peters on the PodCast Where Dignity Lives tofill us in about this and what more the U.S. needs to do in this war in Afghanistan, Pakistan & the surrounding regions. Peters covered Pakistan and Afghanistan for more than a decade, first for The Associated Press and later as a reporter for ABC News….
I don’t know which to begin with first. President Obama vs. Dick Cheney on Torture or the chaotic and stagnant state of England’s parliament. How about I start with the fact that I’m aghast over the fact that President Obama and England’s Prime Minster Gordon Brown, who like to hold hands and sing in the rain together, after meeting at the G20, both oppose Conservative’s (U.S. & British, respectfully) stance on controlled spending in an effort to prevent a decade+ of debt. When following both U.S. & British politics, the level of insanity that both are at right now is mind boggling. On the U.S. front you have a Speaker who needs to resign, a Vice President who needs to not talk in public, and an inexperienced President who’s learning government on the job. In England we have a speaker who needed to resign (and did, becoming the first time a Commons’ Speaker been driven out of his job in 314 years, we’ve MP’s who funded home glitter covered toilets with tax payer money (with up to 100 official believed to be stepping down as a result of the MP Expenses scandal), and a Prime Minster who refuses to have an early general election in October, despite heavy pressure to do so. Perhaps he AND Obama should ask “What’s A Democracy?”
…. Speaking of lack of Democracy, is that Communism and Socialism I smell? If you’ve checked out the “Letter From A Dodge Dealer“, you’ll see the crime that Government is committing on hard working Americans like this one. Here’s a case where the owner of Sunshine Dodge-Isuzu, a family owned and operated business in Melbourne, Florida, was suddenly notified that his Dodge franchise, that he purchased, was taken away from him. The note went on to say that the franchise would be given to another dealer at no cost to THEM. The current deal would cease on 9th June. The man and his family are stuck with 125 vehicles in inventory and a parts inventory with a value of about $300,000. To TAKE AWAY a family’s car dealership business is a shame and seems to me to be a violation of the FREE MARKET. To not even buy back the vehicle inventory or parts is disturbing. Will we see more appropriations of private property in the future? You betcha. Congratulations Obama, you just put this man and his family into bankruptcy. The detrimental thing about this is that this is happening to many private owners around the country. Congressmen Ted Poe put it perfectly when he renamed Government’s new venture into the auto industry ‘Government Motors’….Speaking of General Motors, the Federal Government loaned another 4 billion dollars to General Motors. This comes just a few days before GM was expected to file for bankruptcy. For all of those people who say, “How can they call this socialism?”, I ask you this – “How can you NOT!?”
….After listening to Obama’s and Dick Cheney’s speeches on torture, I had trouble figuring out which one was President. Luckily, I remembered that our President had a much darker tan. Pure and simple, Cheney wants the top priority of the U.S. to keep it safe, while Obama wants to be on everyone’s Christmas card list. Here’s something he said that I hope hit Obama’s handlers harder than the Obama juice. Dick Cheney said, “The administration has found that it’s easy to receive applause in Europe for closing Guantanamo, but it’s tricky to come up with an alternative that will serve the interest of justice and America’s national security.”….On GITMO – in more of Obama’s “Get Experience While On The Job” presidency, perhaps the announcement to close the base should NOT have been made BEFORE a plan made. That’s almost like drafting a stimulus bill and expecting Congress to read it overnight….

TIZ’S Winning Circle – Nancy Pelosi’s Web Of Lies, Obama’s Graduation & Michael Vick
Posted by: | Comments
Greetings all! What an interesting time it is in the world of silly politics. So Nancy Pelosi has be caught – er…accused of lying. Shifting among several inconsistent explanations of what she knew in 2002 about the interrogation techniques the agency was using on al-Qaeda captives, Pelosi accused the CIA of lying to her and “misleading the Congress of the United States.” She says that when she attempted interrogation techniques meetings in 2002, the CIA lied to her saying that water boarding has not been used. She continued on to Congress saying, “They [Congress] mislead us all the time.” Is Pelosi’s Obama’s fall person? Is she the Democrat’s version of flashing keys so that we don’t pay attention to BHO? At first I thought that Robert Gibbs was the guy to make Obama look smart – but I’m starting to think it’s Pelosi. The Democrats are calling for a “Truth Commission”. I have a better idea. Can we let the ‘Truth Commision’ stay home and just get THE TRUTH?….I’m still trying to figure out how President Obama was permitted to speak at America’s Leading Roman Catholic University, Notre Dame’s Commencement address when his ideology, with regard to human rights, is contradictory to that the institution. Sure he’s the President and call but this is obviously a special case here. There have been many words said about this, but simply put, isn’t this like an Atheist speaking at Sunday mass? You can see Barack Obama’s speech here …Michael Irving is getting a show on Spike?! Why? We have enough reality shows. I have an idea for a new show that SHOULD feature Michael Vick. How about a show where he’s thrown into an African jungle and has to evade the hunting mouths of wild predators? We can call it “Prey”….Here’s the PodCast w/ TIZ schedule for the week – We’re doing a live WebCast for those crazy guys at NoSaintsMedia.com tomorrow night at 7:30pm. The regular Politics PodCast will be posted on Friday as it is every week. We will have David Kansas (Wall Street Journal, TheStreet.com) and a suprise guest on the show. While we are distracted with morons like Pelosi lying to the CIA and UK officials abusing expenses, we try to keep our finger on the pulse of all the OTHER things that shape our lives!

TIZ’S Winning Circle – The Great Rush Limbaugh, Wanda Sykes & The Teen Terrorist
Posted by: | Comments
Did Wanda Sykes go to far with her comments about Rush Limbaugh? In a word – absolutely. (Ok, here comes the “Well you must be conservative! All you Right Wingers would say that!”) We’ll be going into this more on the next PodCast w/ TIZ which will be uploaded tomorrow (Wednesday) night – but let’s reverse roles here, shall we? Before the liberal parade comes marching forward in anger, let’s remember that it’s these same people that were up and arms when Don Imus made a satirical COMMENT about a bunch of ballplayers from Rutgers University (Context people). I ask you this: If Rush Limbaugh had said on his show: “Wanda Sykes will be performing at the White House Correspondents’ dinner. I hope she gets the swine flu.” My word! Reverend Al Sharpton would’ve been leading a protest in front of the WABC Radio offices faster than an you’ll hear an “uh” in an Obama speech! Of course, the swine flu comment would be labeled “out of line” and he would’ve somehow linked it to race, since that’s what he does best. It’s funny (and sad) that Al is percieved by many as ‘the voice’ of the African Ammerican community. He doesn’t care about African Americans. He doesn’t care about anyone except for himself. Al Sharpton is the unscrupulous race PR opportunist just as Wanda Sykes is an unfunny comedienne who has to rely on race jokes and personal shots to get a laugh. Did Stephen Colbert have to bring his ideology into his act when he performed at George W. Bush Jr’s White House correspondents’ dinner? Before the Liberal police come marching in with specific quotes of instances where Colbert MAY have indeed included his own political bias – here’s a better question: Did Colbert WISH A DISEASE on anyone?! NO! Did Colbert link a proud American such as Rush Limbaugh to the 9/11 terrorists? NO! Is Wanda Sykes that poor of a comedienne that she had to set up a punch line with 9/11? I don’t know which is worse, Sykes wishing kidney failure on Rush Limbaugh, linking him to the terrorists that orchestrated the death of 3,000+ passengers on 9/11 or using 9/11 to set up a joke to begin with! I’ve made fun of Rush on occasion. Sure, I poked fun at his old pill addiction. All in good fun. Then I woke up and realised that Rush knows what he’s talking about. The man has been doing this for over 20 years and is at the top of the game. Hell, he’s even got the President as a listener. And besides that, I (nor should anyone) never went as low as to wish ill on the man. Hey, if I had a pill addiction problem – then sure – put it out there! If I’m overweight, then hey – it’s always funny to make fun of a fat man. But I’d cross the line if someone linked me to Al Qaeda and wished a disease on me. Not funny. This is NOT in the same vein as Rush saying “I hope the President fails“. So, for those of you that are saying “Well, Rush wants the President to fail, so now he’s getting what he deserves”, you’re completely misguided and hypocritical. When it comes down to it, Rush Limbaugh KNOWS what he’s talking about and he’s a radio pioneer – even in 2009. If one wants to take the argument that Rush’s “I hope Obama’s policies fail” was somewhat “Un-American” with those comments, then fine, sure – if you must. But to say that he deserves to have a disease wished upon him is ludicrous lunatic liberal hogwash! Plus, at the end of the day, Rush is laughing all the way to the bank with the million more listeners he’ll probably pick up as a result of this fiasco and the 3 million he already has. And Wanda? She’ll evaporate back into obscurity after this boils over….President Obama, on the other hand, was hilarious! The man may not know a lick about economics, diplomacy, capitalism or the consequences of socialism, but he can sure deliver some lines. The humour was also self-depricating and, as always, Obama had the audience in the palm of his messiah-like hands….Great news to learn that Roxana Saberi, a 32-year-old Iranian-American journalist detained in Tehran for more than three months, was released on Monday after an appeals court suspended her eight-year sentence on espionage charges. This move comes as a huge suprise and may just help Obama in his quest to improve relations with Iran after 30+ years of diplomatic tensions. I’m very happy for Saberi being reunited with her family…
Speaking of terrorist threats a young man named Ashton Lundeby (pictured here, via facebook) became an internet superstar in a subculture where people donated money to his cause to make prank calls. Lundeby, known by his fans as “Tyrone”, then took it a step further. He would leave bomb threats to his fans’ school so that they would get a day off. Seems a bit much for a school day off, uh? What ever happened to the old days of just faking being sick? He said the following in one bomb threat: “They are in random lockers throughout the school — I will not tell you which lockers they are located in. There are also two in the bathroom and there is one in the gym. You have exactly one hour after 11:00 a.m. to find and disarm the bombs. That is all I have to say. All will be cleansed.” After leaving similar threats with four other schools, Tyrone gave listeners his e-mail address to ask for PayPal donations. Then he promises more calls in the morning. “I’m going to go to bed so I can fucking wake up at 6:00 in the morning and I’m going to cancel about eight or nine schools maybe,” he said. “You guys have fun missing school tomorrow.” Around 10:00 p.m. on March 5, a wolf-pack of armed men gathered at the front door of the Lundeby family’s home in Oxford, North Carolina and arrested “Tyrone”. The Mother says that she heard his prank calls, but didn’t know that he had become a bomb threat guru. She has been up in arms that the boy has been held since then without due process. You can hear alot of his “work” below via the embedded player. You can read all about the outrage here. He’s still being held as of press time. I say, the little twit knew very well what he was doing. At first, I felt sympathetic for the boy that he was being held without due process and all that but after hearing this audio, AND learning that the Mother was aware of some of his antics, I feel the kid should be taught a great lesson. Who sits around making bomb threats? Stop this kid before he becomes the next unabomber….

TIZ’S Winning Circle – Barack Obama, Gordon Brown & The New York Yankees
Posted by: | Comments
.Coming soon on the PoDcast Where Dignity Lives w/ TIZ, we’ve got one of the most in demand journalists of our time, Dr. Michael Evans. His latest book, “Jimmy Carter: The Liberal Left & World Chaos“, already on the New York Times Bestsellers’ list, discusses how this administration may be taking the wrong approach with regard to diplomacy in the Middle East. Dr. Evans has spent many years closely tied with world leaders and is an expert on the middle east...It’s no wonder that President Obama & Prime Minister Gordon Brown have been attached at the hip lately. This is truly marriage of corruption. Maybe not so much directly on Obama or Mr. Brown, but each of their governments deserve to have some questions asked of them. Cases in point: Blagojevich. That name alone has now been synonymous with corruption. Rod Blagojevich, if you don’t know, was nailed with 16 felony charges, including attempting to sell Obama’s senate seat. Now, in the beautiful country we call Britian, Labour Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has been found of using over $40,000 of taxpayer money to fund her second home including the renting ADULT FILMS!! I mean, you just can’t make this stuff up. And what does PM Brown say? He says, and I’m paraphrasing: “She’s apologised. Now, let her get on with her job.” Oh ok. So she (and her husband) stole taxpayer money – no need to resign? No wonder the Conservative party embarrasses Brown every week during Prime Minister Questions….So Rudy Giuliani is rumoured to be running of Governer of New York. That’ll be nice. I think he would’ve made a fine President. It was too soon in ‘08. But this morning on the Imus In The Morning program, he said that he’d like to see people start spending again. Perhaps he didn’t get the memo that umemployment is at an astronomical high. He might want to catch up with some of this stuff if he plans to run for public office again….What happened to CC Sabathia last night? That was a pretty deplorable performance. Some debut he had. Mets fans are laughing it up right now but I’m sure C.C. will return to his dominant form that carried the Millwaukee Brewers last season. The new Yankee Stadium is an amazing piece of architecture. Cheers to the Steinbrenner’s for getting a nice display of Bernie Williams in there…We will be giving away more prizes thanks to our Kemo City Stimulus Package tonight on the WebCast, so be sure to come back here 7:30EST and enjoy the show!
