Disagree about the “afterglow of affection”. At least 2 anti-Blair no.10 epetitions are getting massive support as are anti-Blair Facebook groups. If anything I think he is more disliked now than when he was in office. People feel they were misled, if not lied to, about Iraq and regard the way he concealed his religious tendencies as quite hypocritical.

I think the word flexability is key, lets face it modern life is hard and not everything can be done after work hours. Ever try to get an appointment to get a car repair at night? or see a dentist after 6pm? not easy if your a 9-5 er.

What a sad state indeed, With business I guess anything can happen at anytime there is no such thing as protection and working hard isn’t enough anymore. I really feel for this guy and everyone involved. Tommorrow it could be the medical industry or the railways. Bottom line if he files bankruptcy one more tax burden for people to shoulder, what a great way to secure cheap inventory at a bargain basement rate.

72 year old vs a police officer. I wont say anything since I don’t know exactly what happened, but I simply do not know how a 72 year old can be a threat to an officer. It’s incomprehensible, the most dangerous thing she could do would be to lecture him on respect for the elderly.

If someone handed me a bill that allowed guns on school grounds, I would excercise my own second-amendment to shoot him on the spot. Say it with me: “Guns have no place in school.”, one more time: “Guns. Have. No. Place. In. School.”

Also, the reason schools are failing can be blamed on subjects that the students simply do not care about. A survey I did in my own school showed that 233 out of 250 people didn’t care about Spanish, and over 200 would gladly not show up for geography.

Leave the apologizing to Bush. Why don’t we stick him on a plane and make him take every shoe that gets thrown at him with a smile on his face? Bush is to blame, not Obama, Obama does have to clean up Bush’s mess, but apologizing is Bush’s job.

The only thing Bush did right was dodging that shoe.

There are two kinds of religious people in this world: The good kind, and the bad kind. Muslims are no exception. Their holy book says “Allah is Love, Allah is Kind, Allah is Forgiving” for pages upon pages upon pages, and you end up with people like Osama who are in dire need of being struck down by God Himself.

Also, Tongyun, the higher-ups of the Muslim religion have already condemned the terrorists. Most Muslims are very deeply religious, and being forsaken by their own faith is like having their limbs cut off.

The swine flu has shown us just how stupid humans can be. Egypt had slaughtered several pigs to contain the swine flu, which just shows that the country, which was practically the original civilization, has made little progress in intelligence since the days of using a million tons of stone for a grave.

I know that Obama is trying to tone down anti-Islam rhetoric and establish relations with the Muslim world, but let’s face it, when the news shows Muslims protesting about the United States and burning and stomping on the United States flag and calling for our country’s destruction, how are we supposed to react? And yes, you can say these are just the few extremists but the other Muslims are really more moderate and gentle, but until I see them (the moderates) come out and loudly object to the extremists I’m more likely to lump them all together and bash them all.

What I’d like to see is moderate Muslims becoming louder and more vocal about their opposition to terrorism. Right now, the extremists are getting the attention. If more moderate Muslims objected to the violent actions of the extremists, there might be more sympathy toward their religion. But as long as the extremists grab the headlines, Islam will be seen as a religion of hatred and intolerance.
