US pork industry baffled by bans in China, Russia (AP)

When the swine flu outbreak started, people quickly blamed the poor little piggies and in some cases, thousands were killed because of fear. But now that the pandemic has failed to deliver as promised, China, Russia and other countries are simply using the flu outbreak as an excuse to no longer import American bread pigs. It’s nothing more than part of the de-globalization that we are now seeing because of the economic mess the world is in.

The swine flu has shown us just how stupid humans can be. Egypt had slaughtered several pigs to contain the swine flu, which just shows that the country, which was practically the original civilization, has made little progress in intelligence since the days of using a million tons of stone for a grave.
