Letter From A Dodge Dealer
ByI feel sorry for this man. Here’s a family owned small business that had it’s car dealership taken from them by the Government. And what’s worse is that this new branch of business “Government Motors”, as Republican Congressman Ted Poe calls it, is happening to owners all over the country.
What a shame. Thank you Obama for your delightful mix of Communism & Socialism.

That made my respect for the government take a sharp nosedive. Even though they have the right to take them under the law, to invoke that right without compensation is an utter disgrace. If I was that man, I would fight that all the way to the supreme court with bared teeth.

What a load of crap. For the United States government to step in and take this guy’s business, give it to another dealership and not give this guy a cent is just downright illegal and if it isn’t it should be. Just goes to show that as Reagan once said, government is the problem and not the solution.

I’m pretty sure that it is illegal. I’m pretty damn certain that at one point, we made laws -somewhere- down the line that meant that the government can’t just take. If the government could just take things like this, they would’ve seized things like the porn industry and tobacco industry a long time ago.
That man needs to drag this all the way up to the highest authorities in the land, even if it means going into the oval office itself to get the right things done.

This is such a sad and awful story, I feel so bad for this small business owner who suddenly finds himself without any means to support his family. So Chrysler went into bankruptcy, do they really have to force every one affliated with them to go bust along with them? I’m not sure though if it was the government that took those dealerships, I read in an article that it was General Motors and Chrysler who decided to close those dealerships.

What a sad state indeed, With business I guess anything can happen at anytime there is no such thing as protection and working hard isn’t enough anymore. I really feel for this guy and everyone involved. Tommorrow it could be the medical industry or the railways. Bottom line if he files bankruptcy one more tax burden for people to shoulder, what a great way to secure cheap inventory at a bargain basement rate.
